The KEMLG Knowledge Engineering & Machine Learning Group inside of UPC Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya deleloped Carrel in collaboration with health organizations such as Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (HSCSP), Organización Nacional de Transplantes (ONT), Organització Catalana de Transplantaments (OCATT). CARREL / UCTx system main objective is to automatize and speed-up the process of distributing the tissues to the proper recipients in a fair way. The current version is implemented using Jade 2.1 and JSPs which are over Apache Tomcat 4.1.12. Also we have included X-Security to face possible security threats.
