-host option for the main-container

I want to use the option -host in order to change the name where RMI
registry should be created (for the main-container)so that I execute the
following command for launching RMA

java jade.Boot -gui -host newName

And the machine shows this error:

jade.BootException: Error: Not possible to launch a platform on a different
host
.
A platform must be launched on local host.
/*******************************************************************/

I have a correct classpath so that I don't know where is the mistake.
Someone can help me?
