WADE 2.6 released

WADE 2.6 has been released.
Major improvements in this release refer to the support for security in Web Service invocation including WS-Security username-token, WS-Security timestamp, HTTP basic authentication and SSL support, and to a number of additional features in the development environment Wolf such as the workflow outline, the workflow creation wizard and the possibility of exporting the workflow view as a PNG image. Furthermore a sensible effort was dedicated to making the framework easier to use by simplifying some APIs and improving the documentation (javadocs, guides and examples)

JADE 4.0 Released

JADE 4.0 has been released. This release represents a major step forward in JADE evolution as JADE and JADE-LEAP (two different platforms up to version 3.7) were integrated into a single uniform platform. As a consequence of this integration, it is now possible to use “Split Containers” (originally designed for the wireless environment, but particularly suited when dealing with NAT or firewalls too) directly in JADE by means of the BEManagementService kernel service. This service has been significantly improved thanks to the contribution of Eduard Drenth (Logica) and is now able to manage split containers using plain sockets, SSL, HTTP and HTTPS. Furthermore new interesting features were introduced, new versions of many add-ons were made available, including the new TrustedAgents AddOn, and a sensible effort was spent in improving the documentation and aligning it with all the changes in JADE 4.0.
