WADE Tutorial at IDC 2012

A complete practical tutorial on WADE will be held at the 6th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing (IDC 2012) that takes place in September 24-26, 2012 in Calabria, Italy.
The tutorial will provide an overview of the WADE platform and then will focus on the new features included in release 3.1 (planned for the beginning of June) and in particular on the WADE Interactivity package that provides support for implementing workflow driven interactive procedures.
The workflow metaphor is particularly suited to guide a user in procedures that involve several steps and that may follow different branches depending on user inputs. The WADE Interactivity package provides a framework that allows plugging into an application such kind of workflow-driven procedures automatically taking care, among others, of time-consuming yet important issues such as moving backward through previously executed steps and tracing ongoing as well as executed procedures.
In the tutorial a concrete use case will be developed where users exploit a workflow driven interactive procedure on an Android terminal.
